From Toronto, Canada,
he lived and worked in various countries before
settling here in Sydney in 1987, where
he started as Richard Hsu Photography (www.rhsu.com.au)..
Two years later,
Richard created a separate entity and formed Urban Photography to
takeover his commercial portfolio and clients, which grew at a tremendous rate
both here and overseas, especially back home in Southern California.
Richard
kept his fine art photography prints personally to
Richard Hsu Photography collection.
He has a
professional background as an Attorney
and R&D Solar Technologist. He now enjoys being
a "stay-at-home-dad", raising three beautiful children,
which enabling him to return to his passion for fine art
photography like the days of Etactchrome/Kodakchrome/T-Max era, but
in digital form.
His commercially commissioned experiences in landscapes/architecture,
food, photojournalism and advertising has brought
to his photography, a unique personal and established trademark to
his work: chic lifestyle
photography.
